Marine Concrete
Durable, spec-controlled concrete for seawalls, marine structures and over-water pours — mixed on site, or right on the barge, to meet demanding coastal and tidal conditions.
Marine work is unforgiving. The mix can’t be.
Coastal and over-water structures face salt, tides, freeze-thaw and tight placement windows.
Getting durable, correctly specified concrete to the water’s edge — or out onto the water itself — is exactly where volumetric production shines. We produce on site, on your window, with the mix designed for the exposure, and controlled, contained operations that keep the environment protected.
Right on the barge.
Our volumetric mixers can be mounted and operated directly on a barge — carrying sand, gravel, cement and water separately and combining them on location, over the water, exactly where the pour happens. No pre-mixed concrete ferried across the water. No pump line stretched over the marine environment.
- Mix & pour on location, out on the water
- No spills, washout or rejected loads entering the water
- Service piles, footings and seawalls from the barge
- Batch only the exact volume each pour needs
- Hit the tidal window — start, stop and resume at will
- Exposure-ready mixes for salt and freeze-thaw
No spills to the marine environment.
Because ingredients travel dry and are mixed on demand at the point of placement, there’s no wet concrete sloshing across the water, no washout of mixing drums, and no leftover load to dump. We produce the exact volume required — protecting sensitive foreshore and marine ecosystems and supporting your environmental permitting and compliance.
