How it Works

Consider SCI your personal concrete batch plant, mixer

and consultant.

Our Volumetric Concrete Trucks

Allow us to mix concrete on-site, on-demand to meet your specifications. Work with us if you'd like to:

Here's how we work to fit your project's requirements, timeline, and budget.

Our volumetric mixer uses the same ingredients as standard concrete mixes. The only difference is that instead of mixing all in one go at a batch plant ahead of time, our truck adds each separate ingredient automatically on site to reach your desired consistency specs.

Unlike traditional "hot loads" of ready-mix concrete that can get stuck in traffic en-route and increase wastage, our process is all done on-site, on-demand. This allows for increased flexibility and reduced stress on the job site for your concrete needs.

Depending on the size of your project, we can efficiently store additional sand, gravel, and cement on-site with our reload bay design. This allows us to continuously fill the concrete truck and maintain precision pours for any project - all day and night if necessary.

Reduce Waste

Only batch what is needed

All concrete is made to order on site, simplifying logistics while eliminating down-time. Materials are mixed when needed. Stop and start at any time.

Eliminate Rejected Loads

Concrete can be adjusted on the fly. We are batching on demand to eliminate hot and stale loads.

Increase Flexibility

  • Change slumps for different parts of the same job on-site, on-demand
  • Mix multiple designs at one job site with the same aggregates
  • Pour at different speeds as the job progresses
  • Service remote jobs sites with ease and efficiency
  • Work day and night without reliance on a concrete batch plant to open

Reduce Costs

Only get charged for what you use

Never send concrete back to the plant or not have enough to finish because we create the exact amount for the job. Eliminate stress for ordering over or under.

Reduce downtime and waiting

All concrete is mixed on site to eliminate crews waiting for concrete trucks to arrive.

No delivery or hidden fees

All equipment is on site allowing the contractor to save on delivery, delay and fuel surcharges. No environmental charges or disposal charges. Only pay for the concrete that is used on site down to two decimal points of a cubic meter.

Reload Bay Design

Consult our expert team to determine if you need a reload bay for your central or remote job site.

A standard reload bay design will include:

  • 42 lock blocks to create the bays
  • Add more bays for different sized aggregates
  • Strategic placement to service multiple lots in large developments

Concrete delivered by Sustainable Concrete will reduce waste, promote flexibility, accelerate project timelines, and save costs.
